Category Pharmacy - Pharmacy Technician Job Type Contract To Hire Pharmacy Technicians play a critical role in ensuring the efficient operation of retail pharmacy environments, providing essential support to pharmacists and delivering outstanding customer service. This opportunity offers a contract-to-hire position based in Kalamazoo, MI, working within a dynamic retail pharmacy setting.

Schedule and Hours:

Monday through Friday 8.5-hour shifts Rotating start times at 7:30 a.m., 8:00 a.m., 9:30 a.m., and 11:30 a.m. Pharmacy closes at 6:00 p.m. on Fridays No weekend shifts initially; weekend work will be introduced later

Responsibilities:

Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately and efficiently Provide customer service with professionalism and care Manage prescription records and inventory utilizing Pioneer RX computer system Adhere to all regulations and standards governing retail pharmacy practice Collaborate with healthcare providers and customers as needed for optimal patient outcomes

Qualifications and Desired Experience:
