Duties:

• Assist pharmacists in providing medication and other healthcare products to patients
• Prepare prescription orders by counting tablets, labeling bottles, and verifying patient information
• Package and label medications appropriately for dispensing
• Maintain proper storage and security conditions for drugs
• Manage inventory levels and order supplies as needed
• Process insurance claims and handle billing issues
• Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare professionals
• Answer phone calls and address inquiries or concerns ```

Requirements:

```

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a pharmacy technician training program or equivalent work experience
• Current pharmacy technician certification (CPhT) required
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology and pharmaceutical calculations
• Familiarity with aseptic technique and inhalation medications
• Experience in a hospital or acute care setting is highly desirable
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient service
• Proficient computer skills for data entry and prescription processing
