•before working in a pharmacy. _• Applicants who don't meet this requirement will not be considered. This is a full/part-time position (min 24 hours/week), hourly non-exempt position which reports to the Pharmacy Manager. The position requires applicant to work monday-friday and saturdays (4 hours) upon need. The responsibilities of this position are as follows: 1. Assisting the pharmacist in receiving and dispensing medications, as well as packaging, computer entry and record-keeping. 2. Computer literacy is a MUST, excellent listening and communication skills, 3. Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to prioritize are necessary. 4. Good math skills (pass a standard test), good organizational skills, a team player and ability to work under high pressure and time constraints are all required. 5. Rock solid work ethics and ability to multitask is paramount. This position requires a high school diploma and a minimum of 1 year retail pharmacy experience. Certified Pharmacy Technician and state license is now required. We have a ZERO tolerance policy if candidate has any criminal background. Background check may necessary prior to hire.
