Job Description
Time to make a change? Come Join our small but growing Pharmacy Team! The Pharmacy Technician will perform many pharmacy-related functions in our Closed-Door Pharmacy under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist and perform administrative functions as required per job duties. Monday - Friday day shift . No late nights, no holiday or weekends. Saturday morning could be required for inventory or special projects.
•Mail order, high volume and specialty pharmacy experience is a plus!
Essential Functions:
Prepares prescriptions for dispensing by the pharmacist and fills stock replacements. Makes requisitions for drugs and supplies with professional guidance from the pharmacist. Orders, receives, and maintains inventory of drugs and chemicals, and ensures their security. Helps maintain an orderly, clean environment including cleanliness of pharmacy stock and supplies. Enters data into the computer system, recording prescriptions, purchase orders, stock orders, requisitions, and disbursements. Under direction of the pharmacist, removes unneeded or outdated drugs from stock and prepares for return or proper disposal per regulatory guidelines. Performs general clerical duties for the department. Ability to enter data into a computer to maintain records. Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
Work Environment:
We are a small growing team. Our Pharmacy is 5 yrs old and still has the new car smell! Come join the J&B Family! This is a full-time position; 40-hour minimum, with the expectation to maintain a regular work schedule. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
Required Education and Experience:
CPhT Certified State licensing, as required. One or more years' experience is required. High school diploma or GED certificate Must pass Background check and

$18.00 - $23.00 per hour
