Job Description

Category Pharmacy - Pharmacy Technician Job Type Contract To Hire This position seeks an experienced Pharmacy Technician to work in a fast-paced retail environment with a contract-to-hire opportunity. The role is based in Wyoming, MI, and involves working primarily daytime shifts with rotating start times to accommodate pharmacy needs.

Hours:
Monday through Friday 8.5-hour shifts Rotating start times at 7:30 am, 8:00 am, 9:30 am, and 11:30 am Pharmacy closes at 6 pm on Fridays No weekends initially, but weekend shifts will be introduced in the future
Responsibilities:
Accurately assist pharmacists in dispensing medications to patients Use Pioneer RX computer system efficiently for processing prescriptions Provide excellent customer service in a retail pharmacy setting Maintain organization and inventory control of pharmaceutical supplies Adhere to pharmacy laws, regulations, and safety protocols Qualifications /
Desired Experience:
Valid Michigan Pharmacy Technician License required Previous pharmacy technician experience required Retail pharmacy experience highly preferred Experience using Pioneer RX computer system is a plus This role is perfect for a Pharmacy Technician who thrives in a customer-facing environment and is comfortable adapting to rotating schedules.
