This is a fast-paced, sales-driven role focused on generating new business, building client relationships, and helping customers protect what matters most through personalized insurance solutions. Our Producers are expected to operate with urgency, professionalism, accountability, and a strong commitment to continuous improvement. Salary Range:
$55,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year Benefits Annual Base Salary + Commission + Bonus Opportunities Paid Time Off (PTO) Health Insurance Hands on Training Mon-Fri Schedule Career Growth Opportunities Requirements Qualifications Required Strong communication and interpersonal skills Competitive mindset with a desire to win and grow Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment High level of personal accountability and professionalism Coachable attitude and willingness to follow proven systems Basic computer and organizational skills Preferred Previous sales experience Insurance experience Property & Casualty License (or willingness to obtain within agency timelines) Experience with CRM systems and outbound sales environments
Responsibilities Core Responsibilities:
Sales & Production Generate new business through outbound prospecting, lead follow-up, referrals, networking, and inbound opportunities. Conduct high-volume outbound calling and consistent follow-up activity daily Quote, present, and close personal lines insurance products including Auto, Home, Renters, Umbrella, and Life Insurance Build bundled household accounts to maximize protection and client value Maintain strong closing ratios while consistently hitting daily and monthly performance metrics Execute agency sales scripts and processes with consistency and professionalism Customer Relationship Management Build rapport and trust with prospects and clients Identify customer needs through effective discovery conversations Educate clients on coverages, discounts, and risk protection options Maintain accurate and detailed notes within CRM systems Provide excellent customer experience throughout the sales process Pipeline & Follow-Up Management Work assigned leads daily through CRM's, dialing campaigns, referrals, and recommendation lists Complete all follow-up tasks and maintain organized pipeline management Re-engage quoted prospects to maximize closing opportunities Follow agency follow-up procedures and communication standards Professional Development Participate in daily KPI meetings, role-play sessions, coaching, and ongoing training Continuously improve objection handling, sales presentation, and communication skills Remain coachable and adaptable to agency expectations and sales processes Demonstrate a growth mindset and strong personal accountability About Us Benjamin Smith-Farmers Insurance Agency is known for providing great service to every one of our clients, and ensuring they have an exceptional experience with each encounter.
