Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Cashier/Pharmacy Technician, where you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient service and ensuring smooth pharmacy operations. This position combines the essential duties of managing transactions with the specialized responsibilities of pharmacy technician work, including medication preparation, inventory management, and supporting clinical care. Your energetic approach will help create a positive environment for patients and healthcare professionals alike, contributing to high-quality patient care and compliance with all regulatory standards. Responsibilities Accurately process patient transactions at the pharmacy counter, ensuring quick and friendly service. Assist licensed pharmacists with medication dispensing, including preparing and labeling prescriptions. Support sterile IV admixture procedures and aseptic techniques to maintain medication safety and integrity. Manage inventory levels, restock shelves, and ensure proper storage of pharmaceuticals in accordance with state and federal regulations. Maintain compliance with pharmaceutical regulatory standards, including drug regulation laws and hospital policies. Provide excellent patient service by answering questions, verifying patient information, and supporting medication administration processes. Assist with medication intake procedures, including drug utilization reviews and documentation of clinical pharmacy activities.
