Our client is currently seeking a
Senior Pharmacy Technician Duration/Shift:
8-hour shift between 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Position OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Senior Infusion Pharmacy Technician to support a busy infusion pharmacy team. This role is responsible for assisting with medication dispensing, patient communication, inventory support, and ensuring timely responses to pharmacy-related needs. Key Responsibilities Contact patients and provide ongoing support regarding medications and pharmacy services. Answer inbound phone calls and address patient, provider, and pharmacy inquiries. Prepare and dispense unit-dose medications, specialty pharmaceuticals, injectables, IV medications, and related supplies. Collaborate with pharmacists and pharmacy staff to triage and resolve pharmacy needs promptly. Maintain accurate documentation and comply with pharmacy regulations and quality standards. Prioritize multiple tasks while ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Support daily pharmacy operations and contribute to a positive team environment. Required Qualifications Active and unrestricted Minnesota Pharmacy Technician License. Minimum 1 year of Pharmacy Technician experience. Strong ability to work independently and solve complex, high-priority problems. Excellent multitasking, organizational, and time-management skills. Strong customer service and communication abilities. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced pharmacy setting. Preferred Qualifications Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) Certification. Hospital pharmacy experience. Home infusion pharmacy experience. Experience handling specialty medications, injectables, and IV therapies.
