We look to improve health outcomes by partnering with our patients and providers to improve patient's understanding of their condition, improve medication compliance, and decrease gaps in therapy. We are looking for a dependable Pharmacy Technician that will undertake tasks under the direction of a pharmacist to provide excellent customer service and ensure the pharmacy runs smoothly. As a pharmacy technician you must be detail-oriented and reliable since the job has high responsibility. You must possess excellent communication skills as well as aptitude in using computers. The hours desired are 9am-2pm. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Greet customers and answer questions Complete point of sale transactions at the will call and drive up window Sort, stock, label medication and monitor inventory Receive prescriptions and check their validity Resolve issues when they arise (e.g. rejected insurance claims) Select the appropriate medicine and measure dosages to fill prescriptions Undertake administrative tasks (e.g.record-keeping) as assigned Comply with all security measures and quality standards Required Skills Excellent communication and customer service skills Outstanding organizational skills Reliable with a keen eye for detail Additional Skills 1 year customer service experience required 1 year pharmacy technician experience preferred 1 year certified pharmacy technician certification (CPhT) preferred Candidates must pass a drug test and register with the MO Board of Pharmacy.
Pay:
$16.00 - $19.00 per hour Expected hours: 28.0 per weekBenefits:
