Category Pharmacy - Pharmacy Technician Job Type Temp-To-Hire A retail-focused Pharmacy Technician opportunity is available to support a busy pharmacy handling approximately 150 prescriptions daily. This role offers about 32 hours per week with a Monday through Friday schedule, featuring rotating shifts between 8:00 am-3:00 pm and 10:00 am-5:30 pm. The initial assignment is a 13+ week temp-to-hire position, with the potential for permanent employment and full benefits including medical, dental, and vision upon transition.

Lees Summit, MO Key Responsibilities:

Deliver outstanding customer service by assisting patients in-person and over the phone, addressing questions and resolving medication or insurance concerns. Accurately process prescriptions, including data entry, insurance billing, and labeling in a fast-paced setting. Support non-sterile compounding tasks, with training provided, by preparing medications according to formulas and safety standards. Collaborate with pharmacists and healthcare providers to clarify prescriptions and ensure timely medication dispensing. Manage inventory by stocking medications and organizing pharmacy supplies properly.

Qualifications and Experience:

Active Missouri Pharmacy Technician License is required. Minimum of 1 year of retail pharmacy technician experience; candidates with closed-door experience may find this environment challenging due to high patient interaction and foot traffic. PTCB certification is advantageous but not mandatory. Must be a positive, determined team player with excellent communication skills.
