Job Description
MAC Rx of MO, a growing long term care pharmacy, is seeking a Fulfillment Technician to join our team! The role for the Pharmacy Fulfillment Technician is to assist in pulling and filling medications for our residents. We insure the highest quality standards of practice for our long term care facilities. The successful candidate will be able to work well in teams and in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities include:
Assist the pharmacist in pulling medications Assist the pharmacist in filling medications Assist the pharmacist with PV2 override Work with other team members on missing labels and backorders Work as a team to sort medications to the specified routes Other duties and/or projects as required and assignedQualifications and Requirements:
- High school graduate or equivalent. Missouri pharmacy technician license required.
- This is an entry level position, no previous experience is required. We will train you on the job!
- Knowledge of federal and state pharmacy laws and guidelines Able to solve problems Able to work as a team player in a fast-paced environment Ability to stoop, stand, and/or crouch occasionally Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time Must be able to work rotating schedules, evenings and weekends Ability to operate office machines which do not require special training other than skills which may be acquired on the job The full time position will be comprised of a 40 hour work week and will qualify for health, dental, and vision insurance along with short and long term disability, life insurance, access to a 401(k) as well as a generous PTO plan.
