Videos Duties Help Total Rewards of a Allied Health Professional Duties include but are not limited to: Work collaborively with the VISN programs, services, and interdisciplinary team members to provide access to care and meet the need of Veterans, their family members and/or legal representives via various available contact modalities to include, but not limited to, telephone calls, secure messaging, ch, text messaging, and video regarding a broad range of topics including medicion refills and renewals, basic billing inquiries, and procedural pharmacy activities. Routinely review computer medicion profiles for therapeutic duplicion, prescription non-compliance, allergies, and drug interactions. Seek assistance with identified individuals from a Clinical Pharmacist or supervisor for further evaluion, if needed. Process and submit pient requests for new prescription orders and renewal requests, including controlled substances, into the computer accurely, thoroughly, and in a timely manner Document pient contact and resolution in VISN Clinical Contact Center software and/or the Electronic Health Record (EHR) to include, but not limited to, wh was requested, wh action was taken, and any other informion which may be pertinent during future research. Assist in training for lower graded technicians and technician students. Assist in the completion of workload for other VISN Clinical Contact Center Pharmacy Services in the event of nural disasters, low staffing, or other contingency needs.
Work Schedule :
Day shift (8:00am
  • 4:30pm) with roting weekends.

Pay:
Competitive salary and regular salary increases. When setting pay, a higher step re of the approprie grade may be determined after considerion of higher or unique qualificions or special needs of the VA (Above Minimum Re of the Grade).
Paid Time Off:
37-50 days of annual paid time offer per year (13-26 days of annual leave, 13 days of sick leave, 11 paid Federal holidays per year). Selected applicants may qualify for credit toward annual leave accrual, based on prior [work experience] or military service experience.
Parental Leave:
After 12 months of employment, up to 12 weeks of paid parental leave in connection with the birth, adoption, or foster care placement of a child.

Pharmacy Technician, GS-07 . Experience. Candides must possess one year of experience equivalent to the next lower grade level.
