Hollis Discount Pharmacy is looking for an exceptional pharmacy technician to become our Pharmacy Operations Manager / Lead Pharmacy Technician . This is a key position in our pharmacy and an opportunity for the right person to build a long-term career with a successful independent pharmacy. We know great people are worth paying for. You won't be expected to do the work of three people because we're trying to operate short-staffed. And we understand that you have a life outside the pharmacy. If your child gets sick and you need to check on them or take them to the doctor, we generally have enough staff to give you that flexibility. What You'll Do You'll be one of the key people helping keep Hollis organized and running smoothly.

Your responsibilities will include:

Serve as a lead technician and help support and organize the technician team Prepare technician schedules and help coordinate daily workflow Manage inventory, ordering, returns, overstock and short-dated medications Work with Cardinal and approved secondary wholesalers to control inventory costs Assist with nursing home fills approximately one day per week Reconcile cash drawers, prepare deposits and submit bills to our central office Prepare and submit payroll information Understand our 340B workflow and identify eligible patients Assist pharmacists with MTM opportunities Step into data entry or other technician positions when the team needs you Help with employee paperwork, audits and other pharmacy operational responsibilities Who We're Looking For We're looking for someone who is dependable, organized, trustworthy and takes ownership of their work . You should enjoy helping people, solving problems and being someone your coworkers can count on. Pharmacy technician experience is required. Experience with inventory, purchasing, scheduling, 340B, nursing home filling or technician leadership is a plus, but we can teach the right person many of the specifics . What we can't teach is a great attitude, dependability, good judgment and a desire to make the pharmacy better.
