Ensure compliance with all state and federal pharmacy laws, pharmaceutical regulatory standards, and drug regulation policies. Support patient service initiatives by providing clear medication instructions, answering questions related to pharmacological medical terminology, and maintaining patient confidentiality at all times. Conduct pharmaceutical calculations to verify dosages and ensure safe medication administration across hospital, LTC (Long-Term Care), community, and critical care settings. Maintain accurate documentation for intake processes, medication administration records, and pharmacy audits. Uphold high standards of patient care by assisting with medication reconciliation, drug interaction checks, and ensuring adherence to hospital or clinic protocols. Skills Proven experience as a pharmacy technician with knowledge of pharmacy operations in hospital or community settings.
