CVS health has an exciting new opportunity as a Pharmacy Technician on our CarePlus Specialty Pharmacy team. The team specializes in MS, Oncology, Hepatitis, HIV, Rheumatology, Dermatology, and Transplant and Gastrointestinal diseases As part of the team, you will you will be leading an innovative and bold initiative aimed at transforming health care and pharmacy leveraging new and emerging information, technologies and channels. You will be essential to ensuring medication has been filled correctly and be responsible for accurately entering prescription information as needed. You will also be asked to contact patients to arrange delivery or set a pickup date, perform refill reminder calls, accurately fill medication orders, prepare orders for delivery, packing/shipping medication orders via various carriers for final delivery to the patient, maintaining adequate inventory, managing inventory functions, helping walk-in customers, performing cash register transactions. In order to be successful in this position you must also be able to lift and ship prescriptions up to 50 lbs. The pharmacy is open Monday
  • Friday 8:00am
  • 6:00pm.

Required Qualifications Registered as a Technician in the State of NC Worked in Retail or Hospital Pharmacy for at least 2 years Preferred Qualifications Candidate has completed a Pharmacy Technician Training Program and is Certified by a technician training program Worked in a lead role as a Technician Education High School Diploma or GED Anticipated Weekly Hours 40 Time Type Full time Pay Range The typical pay range for this role is: $17.00

46 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.
