Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated Part-Time Pharmacy Technician to join Rockpoint Pharmacy. Rockpoint pharmacy is a closed door, independent Long Term Care Pharmacy servicing nursing facilities in New Hampshire, Vermont, and Massachusetts. The ideal candidate will support pharmacy operations by assisting with medication preparation, patient service, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment, providing critical support in patient care settings. The technician will collaborate with pharmacists and healthcare professionals to deliver accurate medication management and exceptional patient service. Responsibilities Assist pharmacists with medication preparation in blister cards and labeling of bulk pharmaceutical products Manage medication intake processes and verify patient information for accuracy Maintain accurate documentation of medication inventory and reordering medication through our wholesalers. Ensure compliance with policies and procedures as well as federal and state rules and regulations Support organization and preparation of medication for delivery Perform routine pharmacy tasks such as stock replenishment, order processing, and record keeping Prior pharmacy technician experience preferred, especially in LTC or hospital environments Strong communication skills for internal teamwork Familiarity with aseptic techniques and sterile compounding processes preferred but not required Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced healthcare settings requiring attention to detail Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously Understanding of acute care protocols and intake procedures for diverse patient populations This position is integral to delivering high-quality patient care through precise medication management and exceptional service.
