Pharmacy Technician Roles and Responsibilities:
Preparing and Dispensing Medications :
Accurately fill prescriptions under the supervision of a pharmacist, including counting, measuring, and compounding medications.
Inventory Management :
Replenish stock levels, manage inventory, and ensure medications and supplies are adequately stocked and organized.
Customer Service :
Assist customers with their questions and concerns, provide information on over-the-counter medications, and ensure a positive customer experience.
Insurance Coordination :
Process insurance claims, handle billing inquiries, and resolve issues related to coverage and payment discrepancies.
Compliance :
Adhere to all legal regulations and company policies regarding pharmacy operations, medication dispensing, and patient privacy.
Technical Suppor t:
Utilize pharmacy information systems to manage patient data, prescription processing, and record keeping. Maintaining the
Pharmacy:
Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, and the pharmacy to ensure a safe and hygienic environment.
Communication:
Answer and forward calls, take messages, and ensure effective communication within the pharmacy team and with customers.
Requirements:
Minimum 1 year experience as a licensed pharmacy technician Can work 2 Saturdays each month
We Offer:
