Full time Pharmacy Technician

Job Summary Join our dynamic healthcare team is looking for a reliable and meticulous Full-Time Pharmacy Technician. In this vital role, you will assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications, managing patient intake, and provide excellent customer service to our patients. Duties Prepare and dispense medications accurately under the supervision of licensed pharmacists. Assist with medication intake processes, verifying prescriptions and ensuring proper documentation for patient records. Provide excellent patient service by answering questions, explaining medication instructions, and supporting medication adherence. Manage inventory levels, restock supplies, and ensure proper storage of pharmaceuticals according to safety standards. Enter and process prescription orders accurately in the system Handle insurance claims, prior authorizations, and rejections Manage inventory, including ordering, stocking, and expiration checks Provide courteous and professional customer service Maintain compliance with all pharmacy laws and regulations Support daily pharmacy workflow and administrative tasks Requirements Proven pharmacy technician experience with a focus on LTC pharmacy preferred. Certification as a pharmacy technician in accordance with state or national regulations is preferred Strong knowledge of medical terminology Excellent patient service skills with a compassionate approach to patient care. Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail. Bilingual skills are a plus
