Job Description
PHARMACY SEEKS TRAVEL PHARMACY TECHNICIAN TO JOIN OUR TEAM!
Under the general supervision of the Director of Automated Dispensing Systems (ADS), and in accordance with applicable local, state, and federal regulations as well as company policy, this position maintains accurate medication inventory across Automated Dispensing Systems at assigned behavioral health facilities. Responsibilities include replenishing ADS units, exchanging medication cart cassettes, and preparing standard documentation and reports. This role requires regular travel between client sites.Hours:
2 nd Shift ~ 10 HOUR SHIFT within FOUR Weekdays/WeekendsRESPONSIBILITIES
Restock and replenish inventory for Automated Dispensing Systems and Medication carts Maintain accurate inventory at each ADS unit, auditing for quantity and expiration date Conduct monthly cycle count audits Identify and replace inventory approaching expiration Pull and pack medications for daily delivery routes Identify and resolve discrepancies to ensure accurate billing Use company applications and databases to generate and review reports Prepare standard documentation and reports, including discrepancy logs and expense reports Maintain active communication with client facility staff and pharmacy personnel Work independently in the field with limited direct supervision Perform additional duties as assignedQUALIFICATIONS
Experience in pharmacy automation (Cubex, Pyxis, Omnicell) preferred Knowledge of Data Entry experience is a plus NJS Pharmacy Technician Registration Required High school diploma or equivalent Previous pharmacy experience required (one-year experience in long-term care preferred) Ability to work independently Good organizational skills and detail oriented Basic math and analytical skills Must be able to multitask and work quickly EEO Statement SpecialtyRx, Inc. is fully committed to employing a diverse workforce.
