Job Description

Manage U.S. corporate tax obligations including quarterly and annual tax provision bookings, adjustment data preparation, and filing data review Prepare state sales tax filing data, manage exemption certificates, verify tax rate application, and confirm nexus determinations Monitor and manage state and local compliance filing requirements; coordinate data submissions to external tax firms Facilitate effective communication and collaboration with outsourced personnel, including external tax firms and accounting service providers, to ensure timely and accurate completion of compliance and reporting requirements Operate and maintain tax platforms including Avalara, corporate tax systems, and Sunshine Act reporting Execute monthly close processes including journal entry preparation, supporting documentation, and account code/cost center verification Perform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and integrity of closing data Coordinate with outsourced accounting personnel to support month-end close activities, account reconciliations, and financial reporting deliverables Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field 3+ years of progressive accounting experience with strong exposure to U.S. tax compliance (corporate tax, sales tax, nexus analysis) Hands-on experience with Avalara or similar sales tax platforms Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or equivalent) Solid understanding of U.S. GAAP and month-end close processes Ability to independently coordinate with external tax counsel and vendors Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple deadlines Strong communication and collaboration skills with experience managing relationships with outsourced personnel and cross-functional stakeholders Experience in a U.S. subsidiary of a foreign multinational company preferred
Salary Range:
