Job Description
PharmPro is seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Technician for our client in Vineland, NJ a Long Term Care Pharmacy. The ideal candidate will assist pharmacists in preparing and distributing medications, maintaining patient records, and providing excellent customer service. MUST be registered in the State of New Jersey as a Pharmacy Technician 12 + Temp to Perm Contract Monday through Friday
- 9am to 5pm LTC or strong Retail experience preferred Job Duties
- Prepare medications by counting, pouring, weighing, measuring, and mixing pharmaceuticals
- Maintain pharmacy inventory by checking pharmaceutical stock to determine inventory level, anticipating needed medications and supplies, placing and expediting orders, verifying receipt, and removing outdated drugs
- Assist in the preparation medications under pharmacist supervision
- Provide information to patients and healthcare professionals regarding medication and dosage instructions
- Process prescriptions accurately and ensure all documentation is complete
