Key Areas of Responsibility (not exhaustive): Prepare customized compounded medications under the direct supervision of a pharmacist. Accurately measure, mix, package, and label ingredients according to established formulas and procedures. Maintain complete and accurate compounding records, logs, and documentation. Clean, sanitize, and organize the compounding area and equipment in accordance with pharmacy regulations and safety standards. Monitor compounding supplies and inventory, ensure ingredients are stored properly, and remove expired products. Enter prescription information into the computer system and generate accurate prescription labels. Assist pharmacists with prescription processing, medication preparation, packaging, and other daily pharmacy operations. Follow all applicable state and federal pharmacy regulations, company policies, and quality-control procedures. Communicate professionally with pharmacists, prescribers, patients, and other members of the pharmacy team. Previous compounding experience is preferred but not required. Training will be provided to the right candidate. Because this position is specifically focused on compounding, the ideal candidate should have a strong interest in learning specialized compounding techniques, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to follow precise procedures. Pay ranges from $22.12-$26.64 per hour, depending on experience.
