Pharmacy Intern team members are primarily responsible for receiving and inputting medication orders into computer via fax or phone from facilities under the supervision of a registered pharmacist.

Responsibilities:
Pharmacy Intern Responsibilities:
Demonstrate a complete working knowledge of the pharmacy software package. Print labels and delivery sheets to allow technicians to fill orders. Check final prepared medications for accuracy under the supervision of a registered pharmacist. Provide drug information in an easily understood manner as requested by facility staff. Research and clarifiy medication orders that are incomplete or unclear.

Currently enrolled in an accredited pharmacy program to become a licensed Pharmacist Registration with the Board of Pharmacy as required by individual state This position requires regular interaction with residents, coworkers, visitors, and/or supervisors. In order to ensure a safe work environment for residents, coworkers, visitors, and/or supervisors of the Company, and to permit unfettered communication between the employee and those residents, coworkers, visitors, and supervisors, this position requires that the employee be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language at an intermediate or more advanced level.
