About Us We are a growing retail and long-term care pharmacy in Queens, NY, dedicated to providing safe, accurate, and timely medication services to our patients and facility partners. We are looking for a great addition to our great team— someone who is dependable, positive, professional, and able to fit naturally into our collaborative pharmacy environment. The ideal candidate is not only experienced in pharmacy operations but also someone who enjoys working with others, helping solve problems, and contributing to a team that takes pride in providing excellent patient care. Responsibilities Process retail and long-term care prescriptions accurately and efficiently. Handle insurance billing, rejections, prior authorizations, and claim resolution. Prepare medication packaging and ensure accuracy Troubleshoot problems and find solutions with insurance companies, facilities, and healthcare providers. Communicate effectively with pharmacists, technicians, and facility staff. Support daily workflow and contribute to a positive, organized team environment. Take ownership of tasks and help the pharmacy operate smoothly. Qualifications 2+ years of pharmacy technician experience preferred. Strong experience with pharmacy billing and insurance problem-solving. Long-term care pharmacy experience strongly preferred. Experience with medication packaging systems preferred. Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask. Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude. Must be reliable, responsible, and committed to providing quality work.
