Category Pharmacy - Pharmacy Technician Job Type Direct Hire We are seeking a Pharmacy Technician for a direct-hire opportunity with a closed-door long-term care pharmacy. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing pharmacy team that processes approximately 600 prescriptions per day and provides essential medication services to long-term care residents. The selected candidate will receive cross-training in both the dosage department and toting operations, offering valuable exposure to multiple areas of pharmacy production and fulfillment. 9:00 AM - 5:00
PM Rotating Weekend Coverage Required Pharmacy Software:

Approximately 600 prescriptions per day Comprehensive Benefits Package Available Responsibilities Prepare medications in appropriate packaging, including blister packs and unit-dose packaging Assist with medication fulfillment and preparation for delivery to long-term care residents Cross-train in dosage department and toting operations Assist with ordering, receiving, and stocking medications Monitor medication inventory and expiration dates Maintain accurate patient and medication records Ensure proper storage and handling of medications Support daily pharmacy workflow and production goals Maintain compliance with pharmacy regulations, company policies, and quality standards Collaborate with pharmacists and pharmacy staff to ensure timely and accurate medication delivery Required Qualifications Minimum of 1 year of Pharmacy Technician experience Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment Excellent organizational and communication skills Ability to work rotating weekends as scheduled Team-oriented attitude and willingness to cross-train in multiple departments Preferred Qualifications New York Pharmacy Technician Registration PTCB Certification Long-term care pharmacy experience Experience with medication packaging and fulfillment operations Familiarity with Frameworks pharmacy software This is an excellent opportunity for a pharmacy technician seeking long-term stability, professional growth, and a consistent daytime schedule within a specialized long-term care pharmacy setting. or reach out for further inquiry: 281-848-7419 Compensation for this position ranges from $16.00 to $23.00.
