Job Description

Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and 1+ years Pharmacy Technician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into a vital role as a Day Shift Production Pharmacy Technician at a closed-door Long-Term Care (LTC) facility in Bardonia, New York. This direct hire opportunity focuses on accuracy, efficiency, and compassionate care, supporting the health and well-being of residents by preparing and managing their medication needs.
Location:
Bardonia, NY Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Rotating weekends
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare medications in appropriate packaging such as blister packs and unit-dose to ensure timely delivery to residents Assist with ordering, receiving, and stocking medications while ensuring proper storage and close monitoring of expiration dates Maintain accurate patient and medication records with close attention to detail Utilize pharmacy software (Frameworks) with training provided to streamline daily operations
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
Minimum of 1 year of pharmacy technician experience NY State Pharmacy Technician License is preferred but not required PTCB certification is preferred but not required Ability to work responsibly in a fast-paced environment managing approximately 600 prescriptions daily
Compensation:
Starting pay of $18/hour for non-certified technicians $19-$20/hour for certified technicians This role is perfect for pharmacy technicians looking to expand their skills within a supportive LTC environment.
