Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting patient care by assisting pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of medications. This position requires a strong commitment to patient service, adherence to safety protocols, and proficiency in medical terminology. The Pharmacy Technician will work in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately and efficiently. Provide exceptional patient service by addressing inquiries and ensuring patients understand their medication regimens. Maintain accurate records of medication administration and inventory management. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care. Utilize medical terminology effectively when communicating with patients and staff. Ensure compliance with all pharmacy regulations and safety standards. Experience Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician is preferred, but willing to train. Familiarity with medication administration processes and pharmacy operations is optimal, but will train. Strong communication skills with an emphasis on patient care and service. Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
