Compounding Pharmacy Technician

Description Prepare and compound sterile medications in accordance with established safety guidelines and regulatory standards Maintain proficiency in aseptic technique and continuously ensure compliance with sterile compounding practices Support inventory management by assisting with ordering, receiving, and maintaining medications and supplies Identify and help resolve issues related to compounding equipment, systems, or processes Complete routine cleaning, environmental monitoring, and documentation to maintain a compliant sterile environment Collaborate with the team to prioritize and respond to compounding requests in a timely manner Stay up to date on training and best practices related to sterile compounding through ongoing education and hands-on practice

Hours:

Monday through Friday from 8:30am-5:30pm

Required Qualifications:

Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Ohio 1+ years of sterile compounding experience

Preferred Qualifications:

Ability to work independently to solve high-stakes problems Certified Compounded Sterile Preparations Technician (CSPT) certification Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) certification Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cincinnati, OH. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $32.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
