Job Description

Pharmacy Intern - TriHealth Are you a current pharmacy student looking to gain meaningful, hands-on experience in a hospital setting? At TriHealth, we're committed to helping future pharmacists grow through real-world learning, mentorship, and exposure to advanced clinical practices. This is an evergreen requisition designed to build a pipeline of qualified Pharmacy Intern candidates for current and future opportunities across TriHealth. While there may not be an immediate opening, we actively engage with qualified candidates and will reach out as positions become available. As a Pharmacy Intern, you'll work alongside experienced pharmacists and healthcare teams, developing the skills and confidence needed to succeed in your pharmacy career—all while making a meaningful impact on patient care.

What You'll Do:
Under the supervision of a registered pharmacist, you will: Assist with hospital-wide unit-dose drug distribution Prepare intravenous medications, including antibiotics, chemotherapy, and hyperalimentation Support medication preparation and pre-fill 24-hour patient cassette drawers Enter and maintain pharmacy data in computer systems Fulfill medication and supply requests and deliver to nursing units Ensure accuracy, safety, and confidentiality in all pharmacy operations Location (s):
Bethesda North Hospital and Good Samaritan Hospital Work Schedule:
PRN (Optional hours) Varies shift with weekend and holiday rotation
Incentives & Benefits:
This position is classified as PRN and is not eligible for TriHealth benefits.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required Must be a current pharmacy student enrolled in an accredited College of Pharmacy program Active Pharmacy Intern license required Enrollment will be verified during the interview process to ensure eligibility Up to 1 year of related experience preferred
