Category Pharmacy - Pharmacy Technician Job Type Contract To Hire Join a growing mail-order compounding pharmacy in Athens, Ohio, offering an excellent opportunity for Pharmacy Technicians seeking to develop specialized skills in sterile IV compounding. This full-time, temp-to-perm position is ideal for motivated professionals with 2+ years of pharmacy technician experience who are eager to expand their expertise with comprehensive on-the-job training. No prior compounding experience is necessary, as thorough training will be provided to bring you up to speed.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist pharmacists with prescription processing, data entry, and order fulfillment. Participate in hands-on training to support both non-sterile and sterile compounding, including IV preparations. Accurately fill, label, and package prescriptions for mail distribution following strict quality standards. Ensure compliance with USP standards and pharmacy regulations. Manage inventory and maintain a clean, organized workspace. Support shipping activities and coordinate workflow efficiently.

Closed Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of recent experience as a Pharmacy Technician. Active Pharmacy Technician license if required by state regulations. No prior compounding experience required; training provided. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to learning new skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
