In this role, you will support pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications, managing patient prescriptions, and ensuring compliance with all pharmacy regulations. Your expertise will help streamline pharmacy operations, enhance patient safety, and improve health outcomes. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a collaborative environment dedicated to excellence in pharmaceutical services. This is a part time position for roughly 20 hours per week. Duties Assist pharmacists with medication preparation. Enter prescription data accurately into pharmacy software systems while maintaining strict patient confidentiality. Support medication inventory management, including stock replenishment and regulatory compliance checks. Provide excellent patient service by answering questions, clarifying medication instructions, and supporting medication administration processes. Ensure adherence to state and federal pharmacy laws, drug regulation standards, and pharmaceutical regulatory compliance protocols. Perform pharmaceutical calculations to verify correct dosages and measurements for prescriptions. Qualifications Must demonstrate understanding of medical terminology and pharmacological medical terminology. Experience with pharmacy software systems, data entry accuracy, and inventory management is essential. Strong understanding of state healthcare regulations, drug regulation laws, and pharmaceutical calculations.
