The Pharmacy Technician is responsible for assisting the Pharmacy team with serving customers and providing safe, accurate and efficient service; provides prompt service in the to customers; enters prescription information into computer; resolves insurance billing issues; collects customer and prescription information required to process new and refill prescriptions; retrieves the appropriate medication from inventory where permitted by state law; creates prescription labels and prepares prescription containers where permitted by state law; places medication into prescription containers where permitted by state law; maintains a safe and clean workplace; assists with inventory management, including ordering, stocking, and counting; Comply with all company, state and federal policies, laws and regulations including HIPAA and Pseudoephedrine sales; and preforms other duties as assigned.

• Pharmacy Technician certification or ability to pass the test within six months.
• Minimum age of 18 years old as required by state law.
• Ability to pass drug test.

• Ability to work with a strong sense of urgency in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work day or evening hours and weekends on a frequent basis.

• Familiarity with Pharmacy Law and industry/technical terms and processes.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to resolve conflicts and problems as they arise.
• Knowledge of brand and generic drugs by name.
