Job Summary Hugo Express Pharmacy is seeking a motivated, friendly, and compassionate Full-Time or Part-Time Pharmacy Technician to join our growing team. We are an independent community pharmacy committed to providing exceptional patient care and personalized service. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will work closely with our pharmacists to ensure prescriptions are processed accurately and efficiently while delivering an outstanding experience to every patient. This position does not require any prior experience, as we offer on site training with everything you need to know! Responsibilities Enter and process prescription information accurately. Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications in accordance with Oklahoma State Board of Pharmacy regulations. Process insurance claims and troubleshoot claim rejections. Communicate professionally with physicians' offices, insurance companies, and patients. Answer incoming phone calls and assist patients with prescription questions. Receive prescription refill requests and coordinate medication ordering. Maintain accurate patient records and protect confidential health information. Assist with inventory management, medication ordering, receiving shipments, and stocking shelves. Monitor medication expiration dates and assist with inventory rotation. Support medication synchronization and adherence programs. Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant pharmacy workspace. Assist with point-of-sale transactions as needed. Perform other duties assigned by the pharmacist or pharmacy manager. Qualifications High school diploma or GED. Strong customer service and communication skills. Excellent attention to detail. Basic computer proficiency. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
