IV Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician in Tulsa, OK RPh on the Go - 4.1 Tulsa, OK Job Details Temp-to-hire 9 hours ago Qualifications Pharmacy Technician License Pharmacy Technician Certification Full Job Description Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and 1+ years Pharmacy Technician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. This role offers an engaging opportunity to contribute as a Pharmacy Technician in a home infusion environment. Working Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, this 16-week contract to hire position involves hands-on preparation and dispensing of medications with a focus on sterile compounding and IV admixtures.
Key Responsibilities:
Accurately fill prescriptions and prepare intravenous (IV) medications, including TPN admixtures. Collaborate with the Billing Supervisor to enter prescription data into computer systems for reimbursement processing. Operate under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist to prepackage medications following regulatory standards. Assist in the final verification of prescriptions and coordinate timely delivery to customers. Support pharmacy management by maintaining inventory controls, including receiving, rotating stock, and recording lot numbers and expiration dates.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Valid Oklahoma Pharmacy Technician license. Experience in home infusion pharmacy or inpatient hospital setting. Proficiency in sterile compounding techniques and familiarity with USP 797 clean room guidelines. Skilled in preparing IV admixtures and TPN solutions.
Schedule:
