Pharmacy Professionals:
Responsibilities:
The pharmacy technician, under the supervision of a pharmacist, will assist in the technical, non-clinical aspects of preparing medications for dispensing and assist in pharmacy operations. Has the ability to participate as a member of a team with reliability and punctuality. Does related work, as required. Maintains competency in the compounding of sterile IV medications.
Qualifications:
Job Requrements:
High School graduate or GED. Active Registered Pharmacy Technician in good standing with the Board of Pharmacy. Good organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
Preferred Job Requrements:
1 year previous hospital pharmacy technician experience. National Certification (CPhT) (may be required by the state of employment). Current BLS.
