Category Pharmacy - Pharmacy Technician Job Type Per Diem A pharmacy technician role is available for a Per Diem assignment from August 19th to 25th, providing essential support in a fast-paced retail pharmacy environment. This position involves working the first shift from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and offers an opportunity to apply your skills in medication dispensing and customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

Accurately enter patient information and prescription orders into the pharmacy computer system. Assist pharmacists in the dispensing process to ensure timely and accurate delivery of medications. Manage over-the-counter inventory, placing orders as needed to maintain adequate stock levels. Provide outstanding customer service by greeting and assisting customers with their pharmacy needs and concerns. Resolve adjudication issues by interacting with third-party prescription plans to facilitate prescription processing.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

Valid and active pharmacy technician license in Pennsylvania. Minimum of 1 year of experience in a retail pharmacy setting. Familiarity with Pioneer Rx software is preferred but not mandatory.
