Description Data Entry Technicians Needed. Transcribes ordersto profiles for check by pharmacists.
Runs prescriptions using barcode system.
Communicates questions or problems with facility staff, physicians, and pharmacists, documenting discrepancies in orders.
Uses fax server system.
Maintains fax machines.
Maintains accurate error/complaint logs.
Maintains accurate customer files, which include birth date, active medications and drug allergies.
Forwards IV orders to RNs.
Organizers one's available time to meet deadlines/quotas.
Provides other departments with needed information (Billing, MAR, Packers).
Performs other duties as requested.
Maintains neat and clean personal appearance.
Maintains neat and clean work area.
Maintains the confidentiality of all patient and company information.
