Category Pharmacy - Pharmacy Technician Job Type Contract To Hire This opportunity focuses on a skilled Pharmacy Technician with strong expertise in sterile and non-sterile compounding practices, working under pharmacist supervision to ensure patient safety and regulatory compliance. The position is available as a Contract to Hire in Kennett Square, PA, offering a stable Monday through Friday schedule from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure compliance with USP , , and guidelines through initial and ongoing training on non-sterile and sterile compounding procedures. Read and accurately interpret prescriptions; enter orders into the pharmacy system. Prepare and compound medications following established formulations and protocols. Assist in preparing formula log sheets and maintain proper documentation for compliance. Accurately measure, mix, package, and label compounded medications. Manage inventory, maintaining adequate stock levels of ingredients, equipment, and personal protective equipment (PPE). Support batch compounding, product labeling, and verification of log entries. Ensure timely preparation and fulfillment of compounded prescriptions for shipping or patient pickup. Maintain accurate records and documentation of all compounded products and performed work.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Minimum 1 year of recent Pharmacy Technician experience. Demonstrated experience in sterile compounding is
REQUIRED.
Valid Pennsylvania Pharmacy Technician license is
REQUIRED.
Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm.
