What you will do:

• Prepare and dispense medications in compliance with legal and organisational requirements.
• Ensure accuracy in the preparation of sterile products, including intravenous medicines and chemotherapy.
• Adhere to all aseptic techniques, ensuring contamination control and adherence to safety standards.
• Utilise laminar airflow cabinets and isolators for precise and sterile compounding.
• Maintain detailed batch documentation and traceability records with a high level of accuracy.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimise pharmacy services and patient outcomes.
• Train and mentor junior staff members and students as required.

Qualifications and Training:

• Registered Pharmacy Technician with an Accuracy Checking Qualification.
• Current evidence of aseptic preparation training.
• Proven experience in a cleanroom, aseptic unit, or GMP-controlled environment.
• Practical experience in the preparation of sterile products like intravenous medicines.
• Familiarity with aseptic techniques and contamination control practices.
• HCPC registration is a must, along with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Being a car driver is preferable to facilitate easy commute and flexibility.
