About us Wellness Pharmacy Services is a local, established, privately owned, closed-door pharmacy specializing in servicing long term care facilities. We're continuing to grow and would like to add you to our team. Learn more at wellnessltc.com. Job Description Wellness Pharmacy Services is looking for an energetic team player to join our growing team as a pharmacy technician in a closed-door setting. This is full time position with health, dental, and vision insurance with a company matching 401k plan and annual bonus. The position is for the Mon-Fri evening shift (3-11pm).
Key responsibilities include:
Answer incoming calls and direct calls when necessary to Pharmacist Order entry for new and refill requests that may include entering patient demographics, insurance, and prescription instructions Locate medication from pharmacy supply area, count out, and package in correct system, including blister packs, pouches, vials, etc. Restock and reorder necessary pharmacy inventory Checks stock to remove outdated items, as often as deemed necessary by the Pharmacist Qualifications Attention to detail and be able to work under deadlines Excellent customer services skills Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, and email applications Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with customers Ability to work within a team environment Pharmacy Technician License Prior experience in LTC pharmacy, hospital, retail or other health care pharmacy is preferred

$18.00 - $22.00 per hour
