Job Description

Category Pharmacy - Pharmacy Technician Job Type Per Diem A pharmacy technician position is available on a per diem basis from September 8-10 in Pottstown, Pennsylvania. This role involves supporting daily pharmacy operations during the first shift, working Tuesday through Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Key Responsibilities:
Enter patient information and prescription orders accurately into the computer system. Assist pharmacists with dispensing prescription medications. Manage over-the-counter (OTC) inventory to maintain adequate stock levels. Provide excellent customer service by greeting and assisting customers and addressing their concerns. Work with third-party prescription plans to resolve adjudication issues and facilitate prescription processing.
Qualifications:
Active pharmacy technician license in Pennsylvania. Minimum of 1 year experience in a retail pharmacy setting. Familiarity with Pioneer Rx software is highly preferred.
Location:
Pottstown, Pennsylvania.
Schedule:
September 8-10 First shift, Tuesday through Thursday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. This opportunity offers a competitive hourly rate of $23 for qualified candidates.
