ON-LINE Live Class using google meet and classroom.
Hours:
9 am to 2 pm. Monday - Friday (except holidays) Minimum 3 years of experince teaching the program. Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and knowledgeable Instructor for our Pharmacy Technician Program to inspire and educate future pharmacy professionals. In this role, you will deliver engaging classroom instruction, develop comprehensive curricula, and utilize innovative learning technologies to foster student success. Your expertise in pharmacy practice, clinical pharmacy experience, and higher education teaching will be instrumental in preparing students for real-world pharmacy settings. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to shape the next generation of pharmacy technicians while advancing your own professional growth. Responsibilities Design and develop detailed course curricula aligned with accreditation standards and industry best practices, incorporating topics such as medical terminology, pharmacy software, compounding medications, and pain management. Deliver engaging lectures and facilitate interactive classroom sessions that promote active learning and critical thinking among adult learners. Utilize learning management systems (LMS) and other learning technology tools to create online modules, assessments, and supplementary materials that enhance student engagement. Conduct research on current pharmacy practices, including acute pain management and patient assessment techniques, to ensure course content remains current and evidence-based. Assess student performance through exams, practical demonstrations, and laboratory exercises; provide constructive feedback to support continuous improvement. Supervise laboratory activities involving compounding medications and laboratory experiments to develop hands-on skills essential for pharmacy technician roles. Collaborate with clinical partners and pharmacy residency programs to integrate real-world experiences into the curriculum. Experience Prior university or higher education teaching experience is highly preferred, with a strong background in adult education methodologies. Demonstrated expertise in pharmacy practice settings, including clinical pharmacy experience or pharmacy residency training. Extensive knowledge of pharmacy software systems used in medication dispensing, patient records, and inventory management. Proven experience in curriculum development within a healthcare or pharmacy education context. Familiarity with research methods related to pharmacy practice improvements or educational effectiveness. Hands-on laboratory experience with compounding medications and managing acute pain or pain management protocols is desirable. Experience working with diverse adult learners in classroom or online environments is essential for fostering an inclusive learning atmosphere. Pay:
$28.00 - $31.00 per hour
