Accurately enter and process prescription and patient information into pharmacy systems Maintain and update patient records while ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards Serve as a primary point of contact for patients and healthcare providers, delivering exceptional service Respond to inquiries and resolve issues with professionalism, empathy, and urgency Collaborate with internal teams to coordinate and fulfill customer service requests Monitor data accuracy and support quality improvement initiatives Act as a resource and mentor for team members, sharing knowledge and best practices Support ongoing projects and help improve processes and patient experience What You Bring Active Illinois Pharmacy Technician License (required) 2-4 years of experience in pharmacy, healthcare, or customer support Proven experience with prescription processing and data entry systems Strong customer service skills (call center experience needed) Excellent attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and compliance Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment Strong communication and teamwork skills Nice to Have PTCB certification (or willingness to obtain) Retail pharmacy experience Advanced data entry skills with high accuracy Familiarity with hybrid or remote work environments Why Join Hybrid schedule: In-office Tuesdays & Wednesdays, remote the rest of the week Consistent hours: 10:30 AM - 7:00 PM Collaborative, supportive team environment Opportunities for growth and professional development Support for pharmacy technician certification A culture built on integrity, teamwork, and patient-first care Work Environment This role combines in-office collaboration with the flexibility of remote work. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out ofLAKE BLUFF, IL.
Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
