As a Prior Authorization Technician, you'll play a vital role in managing insurance authorization processes. You'll work closely with the healthcare team to ensure timely and accurate approvals, ultimately supporting patient care and group health outcomes. What You'll Do As a Prior Authorization Technician, you will be responsible for Reviewing and processing prior authorization requests for medications and treatments. Communicating with insurance companies to obtain necessary approvals. Documenting all correspondence and updating patient records accordingly. Collaborating with healthcare providers to clarify or expedite requests when needed. Maintaining knowledge of healthcare regulations and insurance policies related to pharmacy and medical approvals. What You'll Bring The ideal candidate for this role will have Experience or background in Pharmacology or related healthcare fields. Pharmacy technician license registered in the State of Florida is preferred Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
