_PARAGRAPH JOB_DESCRIPTION.SHARE.HTML Butler Hospital Providence, Rhode Island 8043 Medical Pharmacy Full-Time Days Union Mon.-Fri. 40.00 Job Description Job Summary Pharmacy Technician will assist the pharmacist in all aspects of the medication preparation and distribution processes. Duties include preparation of medications for distribution to automatic dispensing cabinets, repackaging into unit-dose blister packs, and various medication inventory functions. Technicians will also participate in the documentation of medication histories of patient at the point of admission. Assists Pharmacist in performing routine duties in hospital pharmacy.Duties & Responsibilities Service Standards:
Consistently adheres to Butler Hospital service standards. Assists Pharmacist in performing routine duties in hospital pharmacy. Observes all general hospital policies, guiding principles, and rules and regulations.Requirements Education:
High school graduateTraining and Experience:
Preferably a graduate ofPharmacy Technician Training Program Special Qualifications:
Must Have Rhode Island Pharmacist Technician ll License. Skills in Math, typing, and computers are necessary.Schedule:
