Overview We are seeking a dedicated Certified Pharmacy Technician to join our team and help deliver exceptional patient care. In this vital role, you will assist pharmacists with medication preparation, patient service, and pharmacy operations. Your expertise in pharmacy procedures and regulatory compliance will ensure safe, efficient, and compassionate service to our community. Responsibilities Prepare and dispense medications accurately Enter prescription data into our LIBERTY pharmacy software systems with precision while maintaining patient confidentiality. Assist with medication inventory management, including stock replenishment and drug regulation compliance. Support patient care activities such as medication administration, intake processing, and patient education. Ensure adherence to state and federal pharmacy laws, including pharmaceutical regulatory compliance and drug regulation standards. Maintain accurate documentation for all pharmacy transactions, including data entry for prescriptions and inventory records. Uphold safety standards in a community pharmacy setting by practicing proper medical terminology and pharmacological medical terminology. Skills Proven experience as a pharmacy technician with knowledge of hospital or community pharmacy operations. Strong understanding of LTC (Long-Term Care) pharmacy experience, critical care, and acute care environments. Familiarity with pharmacy software systems and data entry protocols. Knowledge of pharmaceutical calculations, medication administration processes, and patient service protocols. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on patient care and maintaining patient confidentiality. Our service shines!
