  • Friday Tentative Shift from 8:30am
  • 5:00pm Shift may adjust due to business needs Expected hours

Minimum Qualifications:
Pharmacy Technician CPhT is required Pharmacy Technician license in Tennessee is required High School Diploma or equivalent is required Eligible to work for any U.S. Employer 1+ years experience as a Pharmacy Technician Ability to think critically, problem-solve, and perform tasks efficiently with accuracy Excellent interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as a team member Strong communication skills, both verbal and written Self-motivated and the ability to complete job duties with minimal direction Strong attention to detail; ability to organize and prioritize to maintain productivity Strong computer skills; proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office Must be able to pass pre-employment criminal background check and drug screening process
Duties Include:
We have multiple Certified Pharmacy Technician positions available within different areas of our business to support the organization's growth. The specific duties of the individuals who join our team will be determined by the particular role they assume. Below are summaries of these potential positions, but do not represent all duties that may be assigned to this employee. Support the operations of a wholesale department to include tasks related to: Document Control Repackaging Inventory Control Shipping Support the Quality Assurance department of a mail order pharmacy to include: Performing quality checks on medication orders to ensure drug name, strength, quantity, and expiration date match the prescription label in both bulk and blister card labeling. Review product for damage and disposition accordingly. Support the general operations of a mail order pharmacy to include: Fill and/or label prescriptions daily utilizing multiple methods of preparation including automated tablet packaging technology, prepack machines, label conveyor application, and hand packing of prescriptions as needed. Perform setup, adjustment, and operation of light pharmacy machinery as needed to support daily production requirements. Accurate packaging and shipping of prescriptions on a daily basis. Ensure quality standards are met for all tasks.

Must be able to express self adequately in written and oral English communication and to communicate effectively with clients, employees, and vendors.
Physical Demands:
The physical demands described here represent those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. Must be able to bend, stoop, lift, reach, walk and stand. Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods throughout the workday. The employee is required to exert up to 40-50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 20 pounds of force frequently to lift/move objects. May need to lift up to twenty-five (25) pounds on occasion. Finger dexterity to operate office equipment is required. Visual acuity to see and read fine prints. Specific vision abilities required by this role include close vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus. Must be able to hear normal voice sounds. Able to reach, carry, grasp, and feel objects related to duties.
