Pharm Inpt Sterile Ops Team Job Summary:
Performs tasks within the pharmacy in direct support of the ongoing duties and responsibilities of a pharmacist with occasional guidance. Tasks performed contribute directly to the preparation and/or dispensing of a final dosage form for administration to a patient and are directly supervised by a pharmacist. Provides customer service by answering phone requests and triaging calls to the appropriate person if they cannot answer the requested information. Applies departmental processes regarding inventory control. . Position Highlights Day shift. Responsibilities include sterile compounding for the Inpatient Central Pharmacy at Vanderbilt University Hospital. Sterile compounding experience is not required. Training is provided. (8) hour shifts and (10) hour shifts available. 8-hour shifts are Monday- Friday 6:00am
- 2:30pm. Occasional need to work 9:30am
- 6:00pm (approximately 3-4 days per month). 10-hour shifts are Monday
- Friday 5:00am
- 3:30pm and 6:00am
- 4:30pm. Occasional need to work 7:30am
- 6:00pm.
