Duties Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications. Perform medication intake processes, ensuring accuracy in prescription orders and patient information. Provide patient service by answering inquiries regarding medications, dosages, and administration methods. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care and ensure compliance with medical protocols. Utilize medical terminology effectively to communicate with both patients and healthcare staff. Stay updated on pharmacy laws, regulations, and best practices to maintain compliance within the pharmacy environment. Skills Proven experience as a Pharmacy Technician, preferably in retail setting. Knowledge of medical terminology related to pharmaceuticals and patient care. Strong communication skills for effective patient interaction and collaboration with healthcare teams. Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure environments. Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy in medication dispensing and record keeping.
