This is a full-time, on-site position based in Austin, TX. Shifts are 8-hour days, Monday through Friday. No weekends!

Duties :

inventory management, preparing medications for a pharmacist's final check, delivering medications to patient areas, conducting medication area inspections, providing technical assistance, and performing clerical duties. Guides others as needed. The Certified Pharmacy Technician is responsible for adhering to standards of professional, legal, and ethical practice and all applicable laws, regulations, policies, procedures, and/or guidelines of the facility and Texas State Board of Pharmacy (TSBP).

Experience/Qualifications:

Must be registered as a Pharmacy Technician in good standing with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy Experience in pharmaceutical assistance work. Experience in Pyxis MedStation System preferred. Experience with medication room inspections preferred. Experience with manual and automated medication repackaging preferred. Will abide by the Facility's leave policy, abide by the rules, regulations, and policies of the Facility, and perform other duties as assigned. Can provide a current license registration as a Pharmacy Technician with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy at all times while providing services at the Facility.
